Join the UIC Black Cultural Center and the DuSable Scholars Program in hosting Associate Professor in Gender and Women's Studies Dr. Manoucheka Celeste.

Dr. Celeste is an award-winning author whose work focuses on citizenship narratives surrounding Blackness, Black womanhood, transnational mobility, and mentoring. She holds a PhD from the University of Washington in Communication and a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Florida.

Lunch and Learns are an opportunity to connect with UIC faculty and staff over ✨food✨ and conversation! In collaboration with the DuSable Scholars Program, the featured presenter will discuss their background, work, and research.
