Join the Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy (IRRPP) and the Social Justice Initiative (SJI) for the UIC book launch of I Didn't Come Here to Lie: My Life and Education by Karen Lewis and Elizabeth Todd-Breland. GWS Professor Barbara Ransby will be in conversation with Professor Todd-Breland.

In this book, Dr. Todd-Breland writes about the legacy and transformative impact CTU President Emerita Karen Lewis had on education, the labor movement, and Chicago.
