WFRV-TV Channel 5, the FOX affiliate in Green Bay, Wisc., reported on a presentation by Beth Richie, Director of the Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy at UIC, who discussed the National Football League’s efforts to address domestic violence and sexual assault. Richie, who is Professor of African American Studies; Criminology, Law, and Justice; and Gender and Women’s Studies, was named in October 2014 to the NFL’s policy group tasked with developing the league’s educational and service programs, and to assist in revising the league’s personal conduct policy. http://bit.ly/1DTaULq
