About
Ritu is a PhD student in the Anthropology department. She received her B.A. in English from the University of Delhi in India, and her M.A. in Cultural Studies from the English and Foreign Languages University in India. Her research interests look at the intersections of gender, reproductive health and justice, and the biopolitics of reproductive labor in the global south. Specifically, she is interested in the commercial/altruistic surrogacy industry in India.
