Join Gender and Women's Studies to celebrate the publication of Professor Emeritus John D'Emilio's latest book, Memories of a Gay Catholic Boyhood. In this coming of age memoir, John D'Emilio hopes through his personal experience to bring to life the transformative effect of the 1960s on the lives of individuals. A pioneer in the field of LGBTQ history and the history of sexuality, he taught at UIC for 15 years.
Professor D'Emilio will give a talk about the book, followed by Q&A with audience members.
