GWS values the opportunity to partner with academic units, student groups, research centers, community organizations, activists, and anyone who is committed to liberatory education and social justice. Throughout our classes, programs, and scholarship, GWS centers intersectional feminism and collective care. We look forward to supporting work that aligns with our values.
What GWS Can Offer
- GWS has a limited amount of financial resources to support programming. In general, we can provide up to $250 in financial support for requests that originate from outside GWS and up to $500 for requests that originate from a GWS faculty member.
- Based on availability, GWS also can offer use of University Hall Rm. 1250 as event space. The room is equipped for hybrid events. Room capacity is 24 people.
- GWS can support events through promoting them with our students, faculty, and staff, particularly through our weekly events digests that typically are sent out every Monday.
Co-Sponsorship Request Process
Ideally, please submit co-sponsorship requests at least one month prior to your event date. We encourage you to submit your request as early as possible, as our funding is limited. Depending on the number of requests we receive, our funding may be fully allocated before the end of the academic year.
