Seven LAS Faculty Members Receive 2014 Silver Circle Award for Teaching Excellence
Seven faculty members from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences are among the recipients of a 2014 Silver Service Award, which recognizes overall teaching excellence and are chosen by graduating seniors. Winners of this award are honored at their respective college commencements, receive $500, and their names join a long list of distinguished colleagues. The award recipients from LAS are:
- Joel Brown, professor of biological sciences
- John D’Emilio, professor of gender & women’s studies and history
- Mitchel Hendrickson, assistant professor of anthropology
- Lindsey McQuade, clinical assistant professor of chemistry
- Daniel Miltner, clinical assistant professor of curriculum & instruction, College of Education and mathematics, statistics & computer science, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
- Katherine Noll, lecturer in psychology
- Alfred Thomas, professor of English.
